About Ellen and Professional-Organizer.com<\/h3>\n

For more than 20 years, I\u2019ve had the joy of helping people create organized spaces and systems that make life a little easier. I\u2019m a Certified Professional Organizer and Certified Family Manager Coach, and I founded Professional-Organizer.com with the belief that getting organized should feel supportive, practical, and personalized\u2014not overwhelming!<\/p>\n

What I love most about my work is getting to know my clients and working with them one-on-one in their homes and offices. Whether we\u2019re tackling a cluttered closet, creating a filing system, setting up a family calendar, or finding better ways to manage everyday routines, I love helping people discover what works best for them.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m also a lifelong learner and have earned credentials through the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), and the Coach Approach Institute.<\/p>\n

Over the years, I\u2019ve been fortunate to share my expertise through articles in the Wall Street Journal, Reader\u2019s Digest, and the Houston Chronicle.<\/p>\n

No two days look exactly alike\u2014and that\u2019s one of the things I love about this work! My goal is to help you create systems that fit your life, reduce stress, and give you more time and energy for the things that matter most.<\/p>\n

Ellen is a mom, wife, and Gigi. Her family is an endless source of pride and joy .\u00a0 Working as a family manager, she sees that challenges that daily life can be for families.<\/p>\n

Education is important to Ellen.\u00a0 She holds a B.A. from Smith College and an M.Ed from Boston College. She is a lifelong learner as a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals™ (NAPO) and the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. She is currently taking coach training with Coach Approach.<\/p>\n

She is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals™ (NAPO) and has specialized training in ADHD and chronic disorganization through the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD).<\/p>\n

  1. I love teamwork and collaboration.
    \nOf course I do\u2014I\u2019m a twin! I\u2019ve always enjoyed working alongside others and believe we can accomplish more together.<\/li>\n
  2. My favorite quote is:
    \n“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”<\/em> \u2014 Henry David Thoreau<\/li>\n
  3. I started my career as a kindergarten teacher.
    \nI guess I\u2019ve always loved helping people learn, grow, and figure things out!<\/li>\n
  4. I love Pilates, cupcakes, and Skittles.
    \nJust ask my NAPO colleagues! I believe a little movement and a little sweetness are both good for the soul.<\/li>\n
  5. My favorite space to organize is a pantry.
    \nThere\u2019s just something so satisfying about turning a cluttered pantry into a functional, easy-to-use space.<\/li>\n
  6. I\u2019ve only lived in three places.
    \nHouston, New York, and New Orleans. Each city has given me wonderful memories and experiences that have shaped who I am.<\/li>\n
  7. My idea of a great Saturday night?
    \nSitting next to my husband on the sofa, relaxing, and watching a Hallmark movie. Sometimes simple is perfect!<\/li>\n
  8. I love the Food Network.
    \nThe Pioneer Woman and Ina Garten are favorites. And if you come to my house, you may get to try my amazing taco dip!<\/li>\n
  9. Yes, my home is organized\u2014but not perfectly.
    \nIt\u2019s organized perfectly for me and my husband. I believe organization should work for the people who live in the space, not look like a magazine.<\/li>\n
  10. I love organizing, but I love making a difference even more.
