Ellen Delap Local Organizer Among First in Industry to Receive Certification
A professional organizer from Kingwood and the greater Houston area was among the first in the organizing industry and in the state of Texas recently to receive the Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) designation. Ellen Delap, owner of Professional-Organizer.com, achieved national certification at the inaugural examination.
“CPO ® Certification indicates proficiency in my profession,” said Delap. “It is an important recognition of those professionals who have met specific standards and proven through examination and client interaction that they possess the knowledge and experience required to be an expert in my field.”
Professional-Organizer.com has provided customized organizing services in the greater Houston and Kingwood area since 2000. As a professional organizer, Delap empowers her clients to live more effectively by working one-on-one, creating individualized strategies and organizational systems designed specifically for them. She also holds certificates of study in Chronic Disorganization and Attention Deficit Disorder issues.

 While chairing the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) conference in Reno, NV recently, professional organizer, Ellen Delap CPO ® met and hosted TLC Clean Sweep organizer and recent Oprah show guest Peter Walsh. Walsh was the keynote speaker at the NAPO event. Delap, a veteran organizer for the Houston area, has been a program committee member since 2007.
